Trophies and rosettes will be given to the top 10 winners. Deadline for entries is January 19th, 2008.
The cost to enter your pet cat are as follows: $25 for the 1st entry, $23 for the 2nd entry, $20 for the third entry.
This year the cat show will be in conjunction with a cat art show. Any high school student interested in entering a cat related painting or drawing, please see the web site for information or contact

DOG DAZE FESTIVAL - Trussville
August 4, 2007
B&G Equipment and Supply is hard at work building two dog houses to be auctioned off at this year's annual Dog Daze festival. The event is sponsored by the Trussville Chamber of Commerce. All of the proceeds of this auction will be benefiting the animal rescue organization, TEARS.
B&G Equipment and Supply is a locally owned and operated company that has been servicing contractors and homeowners in the community for over a decade. They offer a wide range of rental equipment, construction supplies, and services. They are very excited to be participating in this years Dog Daze festival.
The Dog Daze festival will be held on Saturday, August 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the mall in front of the Hewitt Trussville Middle School. Admission to this event will be $2.00. Bids will be taken on the day of the event and the highest bidder will be announced at 3:45 p.m. at the Coca-Cola Stage. Please come out and meet some of the fantastic dogs that TEARS has up for adoption. Don't forget to stop by our B&G booth to submit your bid for our two dog houses designed to benefit TEARS!

The event had a huge turn out and our booth was the first stop of most of the attendees, but as of yet we adopted out no animals. We thank our beautiful puppies for helping us out, CHAZ, QUEEN LAURA, TEX, BROOKE and STEPHI, SPANGLE, and BECK (formally known as MONTY).

TEARS was at the show with several of our rescues. In past shows our cats have won trophies and ribbons for various titles. This year was no exception -- see the story of our little T.J. The cat show was fun for the entire family!!
