People can make a difference!. If only more people would step up and be the kind of friend to animals as they are to us.
7-24-07 - A severe case of the mange as you can see.
Immediately the dog was very friendly- just the sweetest soul. Kris posted this rescue on Myspace and pretty soon someone from OHIO had inquired about him and was willing to come and pick him up as soon as he was able to travel.
Much better now, he is with this wonderful person in OHIO (an angel for Matt) being cared for like a king.

5-24-07 - person reporting animal to Tears.
Hey Terra - I spoke to you Tuesday evening about a dog that I've seen the past 2 weeks as I'm driving home. He has the saddest eyes and is so pitiful. I have no doubt that he is in pain....physically, mentally & emotionally.
I am attaching some pictures that I took tonight. His condition looks much worse than what I was able to see from just slowly passing by him.
I would be very happy to contribute to medical costs......AND now that I have pictures of him, I will be circulating it to family & friends. And I will also be making my contacts aware of the serious need that Tears has for continued donations to help these defenseless babies.

This poor little guy is STILL on the side of the road. He is too scared of people to come near, BUT the lady who made the initial call is checking on him and giving him food and water daily. TEARS couldn't take him, BUT Terra (dir of TEARS) is going to let us use traps to try to catch him. Several people are waiting to see if we can get him. He DOES have a friend that is with him that I will have to take also. Can't take him and leave his friend. If anybody wants updates, just give them my email and I'll keep them posted:

This dog is now asleep in my kitchen!! :) He will be taken to the vet in the morning.
Will keep you guys posted when I get more info on his condition..........He's scared but I think happy to be here.
