TUBA & TRUMPET

These two pitiful puppies were rescued suffering from a terrible case of mange. As you can see, their skin was red and inflamed in some areas and crusty and dry in others. They were in a lot of discomfort and a lot of pain. Since being rescued, they have began the long road to recovery. Mange is a skin disorder that generally affects dogs already suffering from a weakened immune system. Their body can't find off the mange mites as effectively as a healthy dog. The skin becomes itchy, hot, they lose their coat, and sometimes large bumps appear.

We have named these two SWEET puppies Tuba and Trumpet. In a few weeks, you will not recognize them and they will be more than happy to "toot their own horn" at how great they look!!
