Everyone at TEARS is very excited about the purchase of 20+ acres of land in Pleasant Grove that will be the site of our new sanctuary named TEARS Town.

This sanctuary will enable us to provide a rehabilitation center for so many more animals. The sanctuary will house our adoptable dogs and cats but also provide a viewing of other animals TEARS has rescued. We are still in the beginning stages and making progress every day.

Volunteers are desperately needed in all kinds of areas at TEARS Town:

• General maintenance repair
• Fencing installation
• Doggie door installation
• Septic tank installation
• Pouring concrete/asphalt for driveways and parking area
• Carpenters - building housing environments, decks, porches
• Electricians
• Ground leveling, bush hog work
• Building ponds
• Auto maintenance
• Medicating the animals (experience required)
• Feeding, cleaning, and socializing with the animals
• Clerical work - filing, mail-outs, accounting, bookkeeping
• Grant Writers
• Photographers
• Transport help to get animals to vet appointments
