Help Save Tannehill Trails and Stables

Most of you know about the recent devastating fire at Tannehill Trails and Stables. In addition to severe fire damage to stalls and buildings, one horse also lost its life.

It has been discussed to possibly NOT re-build the stables but to construct either a convenience store or a mobile home park instead.

Your help is needed to save the stables and trails!! Tannehill Trails and Stables provides many benefits. In addition to its boarding facilities for horse owners, it also offers guided trail rides for anyone age 7 and older. A wonderful opportunity for people who have never seen a horse in person, let alone experienced the thrill of riding one. Tannehill Trails and Stables provides the public with the chance to experience what magnificent creatures horses are and enjoy fellowship with them.

PLEASE consider attending a very important meeting this Sunday, March 11th at 2:00 pm at Tannehill. As many people who can attend and speak out on behalf of the trails is needed. Visit their website to see just how awesome they are: www.tannehilltrails.com

If you can't attend the meeting, we urge you to email or call the Alabama Historical Commission and voice your opinion. Their website is located at www.preserveala.org
