Interested in volunteering with TEARS? We need your help in the following areas:

• We need people to volunteer at our mobile adoption sites on Saturday and Sunday showing the animals to prospective adoptees, walking the dogs, and playing with the cats. Even if you can only volunteer a couple of hours, helping to socialize the animals will make all the difference in the world!
• We need volunteers to help with animal rescue.
• We need people to help with fundraising efforts.
• We need a Volunteer Coordinator.
• We need volunteers in all kinds of areas at TEARS Town.

• You must be 11 years old or older to volunteer on your own, with your parents' signature.
• If you are under 11, you can still volunteer, but a parent must be present.
• We will do Mobile Adoptions Saturday and Sundays at SuperPetz on Lakeshore Drive and Pet-Supplies Plus in Pelham on Hwy 31 and Valleydale.
• We will have an adult leader at both locations when you volunteer.
• You can volunteer as much or as little as you like. We are here to have fun and help the animals that need us so much!

TEARS needs your help! Please consider volunteering to foster one or two of the many homeless animals we have rescued until they are placed in a permanent home. We are asked to rescue so many animals, and the only way we can do a rescue is if we have a place for the animal to go once he/she is rescued!

There is no greater reward than fostering a needy pet waiting for its forever home. We have pets available for fostering that would be suitable for any home. Foster programs help the animals become socialized and grow into the perfect pet that everyone desires. Many of the TEARS animals require a safe harbor for recuperation from injuries and/or neglect. TEARS supplies all vet care expenses. The more foster homes we have available the more animals we can SAVE!
